Tennessee Legislative and Executive branches of Government passed a bill making smoking illegal in most public businesses. That can only be explained as a lapse in memory on the concepts of Private Property, Personal Responsibility, Free Market Economy, Limited Government, and more.

Banning smoking in publicly owned places like the state capital is reasonable and has already been done. That's where good sense stops.

If people object to smoking at Joe's Grill, for example; then they should say so and stop spending their money there. Then Joe can either serve a smoking clientele or go broke or feel the pinch and change.

Many businesses have already ended smoking on their own for reasons of personal desire or economy. That's further proof the government has no business getting involved.

But the main reason is: its not their freaking business and its not their freaking money!

We have fought war over less... remember that tiny tax on tea.
